required for the E1s and new sites, indicating the ports allocation and ODF/DDF
jumpers required; TX Network Planning for Rehomings, evaluating the TX capacity
and requirements to execute them; Schedule activities in the network (Equipment
Installation); Backbone Network Planning and capacity analysis to expand
E1/E3/STM-X from Nextel Headquarter to the stores. Inputs are provided by
IT/Interconnection/Core; Request license for voice compression equipment; Network
Planning and Engeneering for voice compression equipment; Maintenance of the TX
Network documentation (network diagrams, port connectivity, etc); Inform the
Mobile Core/IP/BSC requirements (ports, fiber points, etc) that are needed to
be provided to TX Team to accomplish with the TX Plan; DCN Plan for TX
equipments due to activiation/deactivation/re-home of TX equipments (MW),
providing new Ips/OSI Areas, etc.; Configuration of the NEs into the DCN
network; Bill of Quantities (BoQ) of the equipments to be ordered according to
the Design Review agreed with Nextel; Suppliers technical analysis for
proposals; Management delivery for TX equipments from vendors; MW Link
re-design due to non-appropriated conditions and scenario to perform the link
(new/existing); Definition of the group/area where the planned MW sites to be
activated will belong. This activity is based on the "in site" file,
that contains the forecasted sites planned to be activated in the current
month; PPI (Presence Point of Interconnection) definition based on

to monthly forecast; Pre-Planning for installing/upgrading CS Core NEs into the
network (cabling, patch pannels, DDF planning, port allocation, etc); Installing/upgrading
CS Core NEs into the network (cabling, patch pannels, DDF planning, port
allocation, etc); Dimensioning of IBSC's signalling links (IVPU and MTL),SS7,
